I own a property in Leicester to a single family. It is not anHMO let. There are discussions and consultations going on to make the area of the property a selective licensing area undet the Housing Act 2004.I am not a UK resident and understand under said act that I cannot apply for a licence?Am I correct? Can I nominate my estate agent or a family member resident in a different city/ friend to apply for a licence on my behalf so thay I can continue to rent out to my existing tenant?
