I have a 2nd hearing for a sec 8 notice i served in Nov 2021. the first hearing was adjourned. I did not have legal advice or representation. I never secured the deposit in a scheme in 2009 as I returned it straight away as cash (his cash from week before) pending DSS paying rent. I kept his brothers deposit as was previous tenant. I cant prove I gave it back and judge may award against me and I lose my possession order. bit of a fix really how can I get out of it?
