Hi, I need advice as to how to go about issuing the Section 8 notice to my tenant. It is too expensive to do it through a solicitor. My questions are

  1. Can I fill out the form myself and what are any loopholes to avoid.
  2. Can I send the notice via email so he can't deny receiving it.
  3. I live far from the area where my tenanted flat is. If it goes to court, do I have a choice as to which court to attend or name in the documents?
  4. Is it worth doing it yourself. i.e. if it goes wrong the first time, can you then issue a notice using a solicitor? and go through the process all over again.
