The tenant has left, l now appear to have a family of mice living in the property(they are the least of my problems)
The 5 weeks deposit is not going to cover the cleaning and painting, not alone anything else.
I have no problem with retrieving the deposit from the TDS, but what other course of action am I allowed to take after the TDS (mcol? For instance)---is this allowed after the TDS?
Time is not an issue, retrieval of all money that will be owed by the tenant is important to me.
What am I allowed to do?
What would you do?
I am looking to recover estimated £2000 approx or more. + deposit
Note:- the tenant had a full time job, was also employed throughout covid, as far as I know, the tenant is still employed.
I haven't got a forwarding address for the tenant yet.
As always, your thoughts most welcome.
Thank you
