Hi All,

Long time member, first time poster.

I am one of 4 flat owners in a converted house; each of us have a share of the freehold. Recently one of the freeholders has lost their job and now is unable to pay towards the running costs and their responsabilities as a part freeholder.

This is causing concern amongst the 3 of us having to share the extra burden but whilst we're comfortable to do so whilst he finds alternative employment we want to ensure that when he is able to he can pay off his debt to us.

Does anyone have experience of a similar scenario? if so what options are available to us?

Any feedback, suggestions would be greatly received and appreciated.
