I am interested in peoples take on the recent rate hikes.

Mine are:

- Inflation figure is false due to Russian effect on utility costs
- BofE governor is possibly going to lose his power soon if Truss gets in (she has hinted that BofE are stirring people up)
- Words like "Recession" by BofE G has meant Estate Agents have a reduced enquiry queue. (fact based on my two friends who OWN estate agents, and have done for 30+ years) - both my friends say the market is still moving and prices are still holding, but this could change if the BofE G sticks his head up his aris again
- Brexit? staff shortages in NHS / Teaching etc

How do you see it?
