Has anyone had experience of this? I'm at the point of signing an AST and my potential tenants don't want to pay the 4 weeks' deposit but a week's reposit fee instead. I'm concerned that I won't have as much leverage when their tenancy ends in the event that there is damage/unpaid rent.
