Who is Liable for the Rent?

Good morning all.

I have a bit of a quandry with a rental that has gone a bit pear shaped!

To cut a long story short we served a section 21 to our tennant whcih expired on the 24/8/22. The tennat has informed us that they are refusing to leave so we have started proceedings down the court route for eviction.

Now here comes the difficult bit. The rent was being paid for by a relocation company as the tennant had an insurace claim for fire in their original property (this has now been refused).

My question is are the relocation company liable for the rent arears now that she wont move out?

The tennancy agreement is in her name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
