As a Landlord with a great reputation in our region of North London for being supportive, pro-active, amicable with all of its Tenants, we are horrified to suddenly receive notice from letting agents that HM government has approved a Selective Licensing Scheme applying to homes that are let to a single family or two unrelated sharers to commence on 17th November 2022. This is in a borough with no noticeable reports of rogue landlords - another nail in the landlord's coffin making the way ahead even more over-regulated and pointing towards selling up after over two decades without a complaint or need for litigation/re-possession.

Just to bring our representative body, the NRLA, up to date with develoments.
