Nearly on a daily basis now we are seeing stories and even videos of how invididuals, familes, nurses, teachers etc are struggling to pay their rent and/or in some cases are now facing eviction. All very real and sad.

Sometimes it has been because the landlord has put the rent up recently and us here all know why that it!

However, it is rarely reported along the same channels, why these landlords are putting up the rent or why these landlords want or need to sell these people homes. I'm sure it's partly because not many landlords want the publicity, but also because the "News people" are not really interested in the other side!

Perhaps the NRLA could use any influence they have to highlight the plight of many of the struggling landlords out there.

Perhaps the thinking is, public relations is not really what the NRLA was set up for?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
