DPS custodial - I just wanted to share that I would not use this service again. I had a long standing tenant from 2007 when I logged a deposit. My tenant has recently moved out, he left the house in a mess and as such I have claimed the deposit back. He has failed to respond to any correspondence. My gripe is that I would have to return the tenants deposit in 10 days. The process to get the money back from DPS has taken so far about 6 weeks and I am still waiting. I have had to wait for tenant responses for 14 days on several occasions which has really slowed the process down. If I had used a scheme where I hold the deposit, I would at least have access to the funds immediately. Not impressed.
