My broker has informed me that me my forthcoming BTL re mortgage arrangement fee will be replaced by 3% of the loan fee. I’ve been told a lot of financiers are doing this. Maybe not a big deal on a £80k mortgage, but up at @270K it works out at £8k. ie instead of £950 or £1995. Can be folded back into mortgage - but - seems punitive cost for a 2 year deal.

Another great way to kill the market.
