My tenants have asked for rent support

My tenants have always paid on time since they moved in over 1 year ago. (couple with young baby). The rent, which is already value for money is due to increase by £40 next month. Has anyone helped out their tenants with rental support / amended payment plans etc? This request is until the mother goes back to work after maternity leave in a few months.
