We have a house which we are trying to move the letting agency for.  The tennancy agreement finishes on the 23rd March.  The letting agency has advised that we have a 6 month notice period on the letting agreement.  Can they hold us to this?  the tennant is not happy with them and neither are we.

 

We are new landlords that have inherited the property with the tennant in situ.
