Confused between Standard & Converted Occupation Contracts

Hi all,

I am a little confused over whether you are allowed to issue a standard occupation contract to a current periodic AST rather than do a converted occupation contract.

Read some weeks ago that this was the latest advice but I am hesitant to go ahead just incase it is wrong and will affect future contracts or even mean getting fined?

I would be gratefull for any advice.
