Having been shocked by the thread SECTION 8 FARCE I want to check my own deposit compliance.  I don't normally take deposits but did with the letting of a valuable bungalow to elderley tenants with cats.

This is what I have in my file.  I have my tenant document check list signed by both tenants with both tenants initialled each item.  Tenancy agreement dated 07 04 2022. Further down it says

"There is a £1400 deposit whicht the landlord has lodged with the Deposit Protection Scheme.

The tenants have received Deposit Protection Certificate dated 05 04 2022.

The tenants have received prescribed information (3 pages).

The tenants have received DPS terms & conditions (7 pages) version July 2021."

This is all I've got. I have not dated the prescribed information.  I do not have signed copies of any of these documents that were served. I am relying on this. Is it good enough if I need to go to court?
