Morning All, I was wondering how others are finding responding to the Birmingham City Council - Selective Licensing Scheme questions. I personally don't feel that there is enough information on the 'Health and Safety' questions as to if the Yes/No responses to the below questions are adequate or not. For example, the FRA for my building advises against fire tackling equipment such as fire extinguishers and fire blankets so that it doesn't encourage tenants to put themselves in harms way tackling fires.

These are the questions in the Health and Safety section:

1. Does the property have fire doors fitted to the kitchens?

2. Does the property have fire blankets in all kitchens?

3. Does the property have fire extinguishers in the stairways?

4. Does the property have a mains powered fire detection system?

5. Do you provide details of escape routes and other fire safety information to occupiers?

6. Does the furniture you provide within the property comply with Fire Safety Regulations?

7. Is there a gas supply to the property?

I'm keen to know what others thing of the application and if they know of any supporting information that can help in populating the application knowing what is mandatory and optional.
