For those in the student market I was just wondering what your plans are and how you intend to operate in the future absence of fixed term tenancies?  Will you switch to professional shared accommodation or have you any ideas about a work around?

Not sure if I have got the law correct but I am assuming going forwards that you cannot now ask a tenant to leave after 12 months and that they can choose to leave at any time by giving 2 months notice. This is a totally vindictive attack on private landlords by Gove and his cronies whilst leaving the PBSA sector untouched. One part of me is beginning to think that the government are out to f--k things up as much as possible (in all areas) so that when labour win the next election they carry the blame!
