fibre optic broadband installation requested by tenant

Hello, my property is a flat. My tenants ask me to give them consent to install fibre optic broadband. I have no idea about such installation.

My tenants tell me that the company provided this service will drill a 2mm hole above the flat entrance door to feed the fibre through and they will patch the hole up. If anyone of you has such installation, would you like to share your experience to me so that I have a clear picture about this work. Thanks.
