I understand that once HMO regulations officer carried out a risk assessment under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).   They will send letters to me with enclosed copy of requirements under some regulations. They will send schedule details actions required and appropriate timescales.  

My question is, can they ask you to do more works by e-mail other than the letters they have sent over after inspection?  Can I ask them to send me letters instead of e-mails?
