Hello, just looking to see if anyine else has come across this request from their lender.

I am remortgaging with a new lender for a proprty that I own that contains 7 flats.  They have requested that i provide copies of all tenancy agreements (that's fine) and that the AST agreements must contain an acknowledgement from the tenants that they are aware that the property is subject to a mortgage. The acknowledgement must be clear in regard to the grounds on which the bank may be entitled to possession.

i have checked the ASTs which were issued by the letting agent and i cannot see specifc wording to this affect. I am worried that if i ask for this type of acknoweldgment this will spook the tenants and also i am also not sure on the grounds i must specify.
