Hi Everyone

I am a new member who is just about to embark on buying my first property to BTL.

I am seeking advice on some basics and I hoep you can help:

1. I want to invest in the North West (Chorley and surrounding areas) does anyone rent in these areas and have any advice regarding areas to avoid, good estate agents to liaise with and good property management companies in the area

2. Does anyone use a good mortgage broker for BTL's, especially for new landlords with no history as a landlord?

3. Finally, any obvious do's and don't that you can share that can help me avoid some of the pitfalls a landlord can face?

I have completed the NRLA 's online landlord fundamentals course but wanted to get some advice from expeirernced landlords from the North West
