I own several properties and have found out that another is about to fall within the realms of a (expanded) licensing regimen (namely SouthwarK).  It would be good to hear, if there is any work by the campaign team to go for a nationwide licence regime rather than these ad hoc licences by the various councils. I don’t want you to get me wrong, I am all for licences and I do my best to look after my tenants interests, but this is expensive, creates unneeded red tape (for the council and for the landlord) and (for what I can see) it doesn’t seem to achieve very much!  With a nationwide licence I would just need to buy 1 licence, not have to monitor the various different expiry dates and everyone would face a level playing field.
