Hi all, need advice on next steps please and how screwed I am:

Have a single property in Wales, rented to a lovely couple who we hardly have to interact with, we have an old periodic tenancy without a fixed end date, but the time has come unfortunately to bump the rent up after 5 years. I have only gone and realised that I needed to issue a written statement clarifying the changeover of the ASR into an Occupational Contract on 01 Dec 2022 and the RHW02 form by 31 May 2023. Reading into it, it looks like I could owe them 60 days worth of rent and lose the ability to take the house back. The latter isn't of any concern as we get on great with them, however the financial impact is worrying.

I am seeing them in person on the weekend, do I just issue the written statement with updated terms and carry on as normal. Is the potential owed compensation no longer an issue as soon as I issue the new contract? Just need a bit of help, thanks.
