I'd be very grateful for advice about how to get the smell of cigarettes and dog out of my property. Tenants have just moved out and I want to sell the house, but the smell is really bad. Just had a quote from a cleaning company of £2300 and they said that I'd probably still need to replace the carpets! I'm also wondering if others have managed to prove that a property smells to the deposit protection agency? Any advice from those who have experienced similar issues would be much appreciated.
