Was trying to list my property from the morning. Eventually, they got back to me, saying they don't allow to list affordability criteria and need the phraise "with income above xxx" to be taken out. Unfortunately, CS was not able to explain why it is illegal/not allowed. It would save so much time for both sides and limit the number of TT on inadequate income to waste everybody's time.

I would really appreciate if NRLA comments on the reasons behind their restrictions. Both, Rightmove and Zoopla, allow stating affordability criteria in the listings. I suspect that NRLA are covering themselves from being sued for discrimination by "no win - no fee" solicitors", acting on behalf of DSS tenants. But I'd love to hear their explanation, publically. We will all benefit from this insight. It will help others to decide whether to list through Portfolio or not.

Thanks.
