Letting agent negligence: tenant used fake passport and fake employment

Hello everyone! I want to sue a letting agent for professional negligence and wondered if anyone has similar experience or recommended solicitors. Thank you so much!

I rented my property to an individual through a letting agent under their full management service. The letting agent performed tenancy checks including identity checks, employment checks, credit checks, etc.

The tenant did not pay rent from the second month. I had to obtain court paper to evict the tenant. After the eviction, the debt collection company found evidence that the tenant was using fake passport, fake bank statement and fake employment documents to apply for my property.

The letting agent failed to perform tenant checks to a reasonable standard. I suffered financial loss of over 12,000 pounds.
