We have a portfolio of nine properties which we insure through a Total Landlord Insurance policy. We have been made a very good offer for one house from The Housing Network who work with local councils, but our current policy does not allow us to accept it. Unfortunately in 2020 we discovered that our agent had been using our properties as cannabis farms, so we had to come out of retirement at that point and sort it out.  Since then we have managed all the business ourselves, but we are in our 70's and would like to retire again. We see The Housing Network as a possible route to do this.

Prior to the problem in the 2020's we had almost 20 years claim free, but the cannabis farms caused a spate of claims.  Since then there has been one unrelated claim. This has caused us to be rejected by all the companies we can find who are able to offer the cover we need.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks
