Morning all,

Does anyone here own/manage properties that has a management company overseeing maintenance and general running of the property? We have been advised to take out Indemnity Insurance to cover if any tenants ever took action against us in dispute of where their service charge was spent. It seems a bit of a "over the top" bit of advice as the property has no long term issues regarding maintenance and upkeep but I'm keen to see if this is standard for properties with management companies in place.

Thanks for your time and any advice offered

AP

ps The property is a block of 16 flats of which the freehold and 8 flats are owned by us and the other 8 are private tenants
