Hi,  I have used an accountant for capital gains and am confused on why he has accepted some claims and not others......so I put in a claim (after last tenant moved out) as the flooring was not in a saleable condition  and replaced some lino and carpets in the house in preparation for sale.  He has accepted these as a valid claim.  But for the same reason i had to decorate in prep for sale and he has not accepted this?  Is flooring different?

Thanks.
