Guarantor wants to withdraw

Hi all 

Tenants hve been in a year in Feb no issues but they needed a guarentor because of a CCJ and not matching the criteria .

I have  been told the guarentor wants to withdraw, in Febuary their fixed term will end and a Period tenancy will continue. Will the guarentor still continue regardless of tenancy untill they give me notice to move out. Whats the best approach for this .
