Debt collection letter for old tenant

I've just received a letter (adressed to me as the property owner) for an outstanding energy debt that was the tenant's responsibility from during their tenancy. It was for a year ago, and they have already moved out. I've tried to contact the former tenent but so far havent heard back. Can I pass on their details to the collection agecny, or is there a GDPR issue that would prevent me from doing this?
