Hi, All.

We received an official-looking letter (by post) from a Management Company, saying that we need to pay so much in Ground Rent (in advance). The name of the company looked different than ours. We shared the letter with our MC, and they got back to us saying that they need to query this because they don't recognize the name.

Basically, somebody got our names and both addresses (rental and home addresses) and sent us instructions on how to pay. We don't know how.

Scamming is through the roof now, and police doesn't really investigate. Please, beware, everybody, and don't rush to pay any bill, as law-obedient as you may be. Double-check everything.
