Advice please we have a really nice good tenant who can't afford to pay the rent on the property he is in anymore (circumstances have changed) and he has asked if he could bring in someone and charge them to rent one of the bedrooms! This would seem like an ideal solution but would there be any drawbacks ie does this person need a tenancy agreement with us the landlord? Where would we stand if we needed to sell the property and this person refused to leave? Etc etc? Can anyone advise see any problems ? Thanks
