I'm seeking advice in how other landords manage Carbon Monoxide monitors.   We recently nearly failed an annual gas safety check on one of our rentals due to the CM monitor being in a kitchen drawer!

1. Do you install (hard fix) carbon monoxide monitors in your rentals to the walls / ceilings? (so they can't be left in drawers!)

2. What is the requirement (is it 1 CM monitor on each floor of a 2 storey building?)

3. What is/are the mandatory location(s) for installation e.g. on a landing if the gas boiler is located in an upstairs cupboard / in a kitchen if there's a gas cooker?

All answers & advice will be very much appreciated - thank you.
