Hello

I currently have two lodgers in my three bed home and have been looking to get a loft conversion so I can rent it out as another bedroom. This would mean my property will be a HMO and i'd have to get a buy to let mortgage. Ive been told once I am on a buy to let mortgage, i will no longer be able to live in the property.

Is this true? If so is there a way around this?

Thanks

Matt
