Seems I cannot hide in the woodwork - thought I had finished with "the game" ! but I obs have not - we are very financially involved with a large development now owned by A>N>Other, but a previous tenant (not ours) has contacted me with problems - seems he checked out on due date without landlord/agent in attendance, over a week later he has not been able to discuss matters regarding deposit return. Now the agent has admitted check out inspection has not yet happened.  I am of the opinion that any "problems" encountered by the agent will be null and void due to the extended time in which the property has remained empty (keys returned on due date)  I am still trying to get full intel from tenant - I have asked the usual queations regarding deposit cert, AST, gas safety, why the check out was "unmanned" - but if anyone can clarify the timing of check out inspections, I would be eternaly grateful.  Thank you
