It is important to enrol in advance as you will not be able to sign into the meeting once it has started. Please see guidance below.

Regulations now prohibit the renting out of properties with energy efficiency ratings of F or G unless there is a valid exemption.

Landlords who let sub-standard property and  who have not registered a valid exemption will be liable to financial penalties and other action by way of enforcement.

This free  virtual event ( via Zoom), open to all, has been designed to bring attendees up to date on the rules and provide all the information needed to help them stay compliant with MEES regulations.

Gavin Dick, Senior Policy Officer NRLA

Significant proposals have been made by the government to ensure that the UK housing stock is ready to transition to zero carbon.

This transition will dominate the housing sector for the next two decades and has ramifications for the private rented sector.

Gavin will discuss the transition to net zero and what this means for the Private Rented Sector.

Victoria Dexter, MEES Officer at Tonbridge and Malling

Victoria will be talking about the work she is doing with local landlords.
