Hi,

I put one of the four properties on auction through my Estate Agent. I was told that it is all free and no sale no fee at all. Now, I went with the solicitors of Auctioneers and they say I should get this property separated from the combined Title Deed. They are asking for £300.00 + plus someone to draw the separated property drawing.

Now, I sold 5 properties out of this Title Deed and no solicitor asked me to get it separated and I didn't pay anything at all. To me, it seems that the auctioneer's solicitor is trying to cheat me to get it separated whether the property is sold or not? I insisted that I want to keep One Title deed as it is and if the buyer wants to get it separated, then let him pay for it as some did on my other properties. But the auctioneers are stubborn.

What is your opinion, please? What advice can you render me?
