We have a tenant moving in on 22/8.

We will be giving the first weeks rent for free.

I would prefer that all tenants pay rent on the 1st of the month for ease of tracking, but would this cause an issue going forwards?

Could we ask for the first months rent +3 days to be paid initially with every payment on the 1st thereafter?

How would this impact the payment calculations when the tenant moves out?

Suggestions on the easiest solutions would be appreciated.
