Is it fair and legal that as a conscientious private landlord, we should be made to pay for a second Selective License after obtaining one only 4 years ago? We have always maintained a safe and secure property for a happy and contented tenant and always made sure all safety and environmental aspects of the property are up to date. We have never had a dispute with, or complaint from the tenant and yet we are being forced to pay out another £521 (After having paid over £600 only 4 years ago)
Please can you advise if we have any alternative to this blatant demand for money for nothing?

Many thanks,

John Mears
