In our licensed HMO we fitted very expensive fire doors which were fully compliant in 2011, when we converted house to HMO. However, at our last inspection, the council have now said we need to additionally fit cold smoke seals. They said these can be added to the existing doors. However, when we have tried to do this the doors no longer close properly. Has anyone else had this situation?
