There has been an issue on SM about a Lamona electric oven having burned through the side of kitchen cabinets and the area below . It is unclear whether it is a faulty oven or bad installation with installers and Trusted Traders in disagreement over the cause.
As a great deal of landlords do use Lamona it may be worth checking .
