Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Good afternoon.
I'd like to know please what the time limit is for applying to the court for a bailiff warrant, after the section 21 procession order has been granted?

In other words, would a sec21 order time expire after a given period (perhaps 12 months?) before I move to the next stage of applying for a bailiff warrant.
