Legionella Risk Assessment

I have recently received a letter from my managing agent indicating that the above risk assessment is due.
I rent out a semi detached residential property. Please can you advise me, is this required for residential properties and can I do it myself. The agent has quoted 125 + VAT to have the assessment done.
