I had a 12 months AST which is due to expire in a couple of months. My tenants have expressed a desire to renew the tenancy for another period of 12 month. How do I go about doing this? Is it just a case of getting them to sign a addendum with stating an extension to the contract? I understand the contract still continues on a rolling month basis but I would rather have that 12 months guarantee.
