Please excuse my ignorance in this matter but i have been told i now have to have an electrical safety certificate for my property , is this a legal requirement ? does it apply to new tenancies only or does it still apply to long standing tenants ? what would be a reasonable ball park figure for an electrician to do a 2 bed semi ? All advice received with thanks
