Hi, In your AST's it states
"To end the periodic continuation of the tenancy you must provide us with written notice you intend to
leave to the service address provided in Section A of this Agreement or, if we consent to service of notice via
email then to the email address provided in clause 9.2 of this Agreement. The notice must end on the last day of
the Rent Period and must be of sufficient length to be considered valid. This means that for tenancies where the
Rent is paid weekly, fortnightly or four-weekly, the notice period must be at least 28 days in length. Where the
Rent is paid monthly the notice must be at least one calendar month in length."
Does this mean that the tenant can just leave on the last day of the tenancy before it rolls on to become a periodic tenancy without giving any kind of notice at all?
