I am sole director/shareholder in my company set up 30 years ago to incorporate a property purchase being run as an HMO. It is also my only home. I am licenced etc. and all is under control. For years we issued AST's. Then tightening up and keeping track of updates in documentation we changed to R.L.A. agreements.
However: 5 years ago we only issued AST's on licence renewal. Renewal due imminently and we now have RLA agreements so wondering if the council will not agree with status. Can I be classified as a Resident landlord. We have been using your Agreements after reading that AST's could not be issued for a resident landlord but can't find any absolute answer given the only home-v-co. owned property issue. Look forward to hearing from you.
