Hello all

A question around converting front gardens into a driveway. Our next door neighbor has a dropped curb and we would like to apply for dropped curbs too however it looks like our front garden might not fit into the current restrictions (not sure when the neighbors have done theirs). Many other houses on our street with the same front gardens have converted theirs into driveways but again it was probably a while ago, we are new here. Would it be an issue if we convert ours and drive through the adjacent dropped curb (which is between ours and neighbors houses)? Parking on our street is always a pain so it would really help to have our own driveway.

We have a couple of quotes from paving contractors and they think it shouldn't not be a problem if we don't apply for dropped curbs. Obviously, they just want do this job for us but I would like to be sure before hiring everyone. Any thoughts?
